On her wedding day, a bride decided to let her 2-year-old son steal the spotlight. Kristie Mihelich had no idea that her son would take center stage, but she is delighted that he did!
Kristie and her husband Bobby tied the knot in Michigan after postponing their wedding due to the pandemic. In the meantime, they became parents to their son, Pierson.
They had always envisioned him as the ring bearer for the ceremony. Pierson and his father waited at the front as Kristie began her journey down the aisle to the traditional tune of “Canon in D.”
Pierson couldn’t contain his excitement. “Hey, Mom!” he exclaimed, waving and running towards her with open arms. All the guests were impressed and applauded.
Kristie walked down the aisle with her son Pierson and her brother Kirk. It was an unexpected stroll down the aisle that turned out to be beautiful and fitting.
“It was the sweetest thing on the planet,” she added. “I could have gone home and celebrated my wedding right then and there.” The guests and the groom cherished the moment.
Pierson’s enthusiasm set the tone for the entire event, making it a huge success. “I couldn’t have planned it differently, and I wouldn’t want it any other way,” Kristie added.
