Many times, newborns are born with little to no hair. However, in the case of two brothers from Britain, George and Stanley, they were born with a full head of hair, making quite an impression.
Lindsay Shelton’s legacy in Northampton and the United Kingdom is well-known, thanks to her sons, George and Stanley, who initially appear to be typical guys but stand out due to their thick, natural hair.
During George’s delivery, obstetricians had to use scissors because his hair was so long that it covered his eyes and nose.
Despite regular haircuts every two months in the first six months of his life, George’s hair grew rapidly. Due to his aversion to haircuts, his parents took him for his first professional haircut at nine months, leaving the hairdresser amazed at the unique sight.
Four years later, Lindsay and her husband Simon welcomed their second son, Stanley, whose hair grew long and eventually stood straight.
Simon jokingly referred to Stanley as “electrocuted,” given the gel-art-like appearance of his hair. Unlike George, Stanley enjoys visits to the barbershop, and his mother playfully commented on the staying power of hats in relation to his hair.
The similar hair texture of the Shelton brothers is attributed to their genetics, as adults in their family tend to have thick and rapidly regenerating hair.
