When Muin Bachonaev, a 13-year-old boy from Russia, saw his eyelashes grow to a remarkable length of 4.5 centimeters, he earned a place in the Book of Records.
Introducing a 13-year-old boy with a distinctive appearance: he boasts some of the longest eyelashes in the world.
Initially recognized as the longest in the country, Muin’s eyelashes have continued to grow even longer, as confirmed by his parents.
Originally from Tajikistan, the Bachonaev family immigrated to Russia (Moscow) in 2010, bringing along their four children. Among them, Muin stands out for his unique feature—his unusually long eyelashes, which were noticed by the family since birth.
Despite this distinctive characteristic, Muin considers himself an ordinary person, living a life like any other child. He has become accustomed to his long eyelashes, and they don’t pose any inconvenience for him.
Muin’s appearance has become a source of fascination for many, but he remains unfazed by the attention.
Similar to millions of his peers worldwide, Muin harbors a passion for football and aspires to become a renowned football player in the future.
Following Muin’s birth, concerned doctors recommended an examination to ascertain the potential risks associated with his appearance. Fortunately, the results revealed that Muin is in excellent health.
His lengthy eyelashes are deemed a quirky genetic trait, posing no danger whatsoever. Instead of trimming them, Muin’s parents opted to allow them to grow further.
Muin has already secured the title of having the longest eyelashes in Russia. However, his parents aim to surpass this achievement and set a new world record. A boy from the United States has already reached 6 centimeters in eyelash length, and given Muin’s rapid hair growth, his father is confident that he will soon break this record.
