Discovering that others have endured the same tragic experiences as you can offer comfort and optimism. The British members of the Missing People Choir share a common bond of having lost relatives or children.

During their recent audition on “Britain’s Got Talent,” the choir delivered a poignant performance of “I Miss You.”

They emphasize that singing together is not just therapeutic but also contributes to their collective growth as a supportive and encouraging group.

The judges, including Simon Cowell, were deeply moved by their performance and the inspiring message behind it. Simon, known for his tough exterior, revealed a rare glimpse of his emotional side as the choir’s rendition brought him to tears.

The song “I Miss You” holds a personal connection as it was written by one of the choir members, Peter Boxell.

Peter’s 15-year-old son disappeared after a soccer game in South London in 1988, and despite the passage of time, Peter remains hopeful about reuniting with his child.

Following their heartfelt performance, the judges expressed their pride in the choir, and many in the audience were visibly moved to tears.
