Three and a half decades ago, a baby girl was born without any apparent abnormalities, maintaining normal height and weight. The parents, desiring a large family, soon welcomed a boy into their lives, bringing them immense joy.
However, it wasn’t long before it became evident that both children were grappling with health issues related to a lack of growth hormone. Despite seeking treatment from top-notch specialists, their condition showed no improvement.
Various medical interventions and medications only exacerbated the situation, leading to the father leaving the family. Consequently, the responsibility for the family fell squarely on the mother, Nancy.
Over time, there was a slight improvement in the children’s conditions: John grew stronger, and Geena was able to attend school. Following her ninth-grade graduation, Geena briefly worked as a sales consultant in a cosmetics company.
John, on the other hand, assists his mother and sister in their daily lives.
Despite their modest living conditions, with the family relying on disability benefits and a social package, it proved insufficient. To make ends meet, Nancy delved into the art of weaving, generously contributing a portion of the proceeds to charity.
Geena harbors a passion for playing the guitar and dreams of performing like the women she sees on TV. Although both in their thirties, Nancy’s children still appear small for their age.
