Monica Bellucci, at the age of 58, has found love once more, and she couldn’t be happier in her new relationship. This revelation was shared with the Mirror by a close friend of the actress.
Surprisingly, her romance has been blossoming for quite some time. Monica Bellucci is dating 64-year-old director Tim Burton. Despite starting this romance four months ago, they managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye.
At the outset of their journey together, Monica and Tim were seen together a couple of times. Yet, no one suspected that these encounters were of a romantic nature.
After all, Bellucci epitomizes glamour, often appearing as if she’s stepped out of the golden era of Hollywood. In contrast, Tim Burton, known for his perpetually tousled hair, is highly eccentric as both an individual and a director, often delving into the mystical or whimsical in his films.
Despite these striking differences, the two have come together as a couple. While they have known each other for many years, their romance officially ignited in October the previous year, when they reunited at the Lyon Film Festival.
Bellucci presented Burton with an award for his contribution to cinema, and they attended one of the festival’s shows together.
It’s important to note that Monica’s relationship with Tim marks her first since her separation from Vincent Cassel, her former husband and father of her two daughters, back in 2013. Her sole post-divorce romance, with the young artist Nicolas Lefebvre, ended four years ago in 2019.
