Shannen Doherty emotionally appears in public months after sharing terminal cancer update…

Shannen Doherty, despite her recent challenging experiences, continues to enjoy widespread popularity among fans worldwide.

In June of this year, the 52-year-old actress revealed the distressing news that her stage four cancer had spread to her brain, a revelation that prompted an outpouring of sympathy and support.

Throughout her cancer battle, Doherty has made considerable efforts to share her journey, using her Instagram account to post candid videos and provide regular updates, aiming to both inform and inspire others.

Recently, the former “Charmed” star received an enthusiastic reception reminiscent of a rockstar’s welcome during a 90210 panel, where she appeared alongside her former cast members. The emotional response left her visibly moved to tears.

It’s worth noting that Doherty’s battle with cancer began in 2015 when she was initially diagnosed with breast cancer. She achieved remission after two years of treatment. Tragically, in 2020, she appeared on “Good Morning America” to reveal that not only had her cancer returned but it had reached stage four.

She shared, “It’s going to come out in a matter of days or a week that I’m stage four. So my cancer came back, and that’s why I’m here.” At the time, Doherty admitted that she had kept this news private for a year, acknowledging, “I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways.”

The extent of her personal struggles during that year is difficult for most of us to fully comprehend. It’s known that she largely kept her dire diagnosis concealed as she worked on the reboot of “BH90210.”

The panel, which featured Doherty alongside former co-stars such as Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris, provided an opportunity for them to reminisce about their iconic show and its incredible success.

However, the most poignant moment of the event was when Doherty received a standing ovation from the audience, a gesture that moved her to tears. Gratefully, she expressed, “Thank you so much. You guys know how much I love crying constantly. And I do, it seems. So, thank you.”
