In this touching tale, a malnourished baby crow ended up in the care of a veterinarian called Leenett after being discovered all alone without its mother.
Determined to help, Leenett took the crow home, deciding to nurture it until it could fly independently. She affectionately named him Walter.
However, Walter seems to have formed a strong attachment and now believes he’s a dog. “We don’t treat them as pets. Despite Walter’s constant presence, he’s not a pet,” she explained. “He’s simply a pesky wild bird.”
Walter’s presence in Leenett’s life is a delightful surprise, one of those unexpected gifts that life blesses us with. We are grateful to Leenett for her care and devotion to him.
