A dad was bragging about himself in a fake video interview, but his sassy little daughter wasn’t having it. The young girl shouted out, “That’s not true, that’s not true!” She couldn’t bear to listen to her father’s outrageous lies anymore.
Kids are honest and believe in speaking the truth, even when it comes to their parents. Sometimes, they speak up at the most inconvenient times. In this case, a father was recording a fake job interview video with his daughter sitting next to him. The video was uploaded to the TikTok account @alongcameabby. At the beginning of the video, Abby, the young daughter, happily sat beside her father. He addressed the camera, saying, “I know that you wanted me to send a video and you wanted me to include one of my children, and I only have one child. Her name is Abby, and she’s here.” Abby waved her hand and greeted the camera with a cute “Hi.”
The father continued, stating, “So you wanted some background. I dress like this every day. As soon as I get up, I wake up at 4 am. Every morning, I go for a run, about 12 miles. Then I come back, make sure the house is clean and tidy, do all the dishes, and wash…” Abby, who was growing increasingly confused, suddenly jumped up and exclaimed, “Cut! That’s not true, that’s not true!”
Despite her dad’s request for her to sit down, Abby couldn’t take it anymore. She said “Bye” and walked off the frame. Her father pleaded with her to come back, but she firmly told him, “That’s not true. You can’t lie to them.”
Reluctantly, Abby returned and sat down with folded hands. Her dad resumed his fictional narrative, claiming, “So you asked about my diet, I only eat vegetables, no pizza.” Abby called him out, saying, “Yeah, you drink chips and milk. Come on, you have sugar all day.” However, the final straw came when her dad said, “You asked how I met my wife, I was a center fielder for the New York Yankees, playing one day…” Abby finally walked away, ending the video.
