He’s definitely still got the moves!

Age does not determine your abilities. The vitality within you determines your quality of life and what you can do with it.

Dick Van Dyke, 96, has the energy to share a happy song and dance with his wife Arlene Silver, 50, who is half his age.
Van Dyke, best known for his roles in “Mary Poppins” and “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” recently performed a duet with his wife in a new video for Silver’s band Arlene & the Vantastix, which also featured Tony Guerrero.

Silver begins the video by looking into a mirror and singing the Doris Day song that goes:

“I shouldn’t be concerned for nothing. Everyone loves me, yes they do, and I love everyone since I fell in love with you.”

Day first performed “Everybody Loves a Lover,” written by Robert Allen and Richard Adler, with Frank DeWol & His Orchestra in 1958.

Over the years, there have been numerous remakes.
Arlene & the Vantastix’s video is bright and colorful, with fruit and flowered patterns on the walls and furniture.

Silver is followed as she walks over to her seated husband. Van Dyke sings briefly before the two slide across the floor, engaging in some synchronistic smooth footwork.

The video concludes with a smooth between the two. Van Dyke and Silver married in 2012 after dating for about six years.

On February 29 of this year, they celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.

Silver told Parade, “I remember seeing Dick at the catering table with his bow tie and his big smile.” “He was sitting next to me as soon as I sat down.” ‘Hello, my name is Dick,’ he said. “The first question I asked him was, ‘Didn’t you appear in ‘Mary Poppins?'”

After 36 years of marriage, Van Dyke divorced his first wife, Margie Willet, in 1984.

He was married to Michelle Triola for 30 years before she died in 2009. Silver is getting married for the first time.
“She’s very mature for her age, and I’m very immature for my age,” Van Dyke explained.

Silver stated that her and her husband’s relationship began as a friendship.

She was then smitten by his childish charm.
“He’s great fun.” He’s not immature in a negative sense. “He’s immature in a good way, with a child’s wonder,” she said.

“He’s just a good time, and he’s open to new experiences.” He isn’t set in his ways at all. We’re both like kids. We both feel like we’re in a second childhood.”

On Silver’s YouTube channel, their duet of “Everybody Loves a Lover” has received over 888,000 views.

“Kudos to this lovely, loving couple for their lovely voices, step work, and vibe.” What a fantastically stylish video!” one commenter wrote

“A phenomenally upbeat song and dance number.” Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Van Dyke, for brightening my day on this cold winter morning in Michigan,” said another.
