Mayyas, a Lebanese dance troupe, stunned the judges on Tuesday night’s America’s Got Talent finals.
The choreographed dance featured white, feathered outfits and sparkling globes of light in a moody routine that earned the audience a standing ovation.
“Fabulous,” exclaimed judge Sofia Vergara after handing Mayyas her golden buzzer after their first audition. “A different level.”
“This is what a million dollars looks like,” Heidi Klum, another judge, said. “You always brought your A game, and tonight was no exception.”
Simon Cowell described the performance as “amazing.” “Something has happened with you, and I’m starting to feel a buzz outside of the show.” This has arrived.
“It’s worldwide. It’s enormous. I don’t think you’ll be able to top that.”
