Throwaway Pittie mama becomes baby brother’s best friend

Rachel was about 4 months pregnant when she adopted Piggy Pie, a Pitbull. The poor soul was a discarded mother. She was discovered as a stray with missing hair and skin infections all over her body. Something about her, however, stood out.

Piggy Pie was adopted by the family and given a forever home. They were intent on doing anything that would aid in the emotional and physical healing of the scarred Pittie.

Rachel assisted Piggy Pie in bathing her cute Pittie three times a week to treat her skin infection. This allowed them to become closer. The dog thoroughly enjoyed her time with the new mother.

Rachel was aware that Piggy Pie was emotionally vulnerable, but the little creature was so adorable that the dog’s mother knew she had to help in some way. The Pitbull was well aware that her mother was expecting a child and would always place her paws between her mother’s thighs, her head on top.

When Rachel’s son, Nathan, was born, Piggy Pie was always drawn to him. She was constantly cuddling with him or sleeping next to him. Finally, the two of them simply understood each other.

Even when it was bath time, Piggy Pie would sit beside him, observe him, and then go help him dry off by licking the drops of water on his little legs. Their relationship became more assertive after Nathan began to walk.

Nathan is now accompanied by his personal entourage. Rachel was looking forward to them evolving together because the evolution of their relationship had been so unique. But Piggy Pie was Nathan’s most important treasure and best friend.
