Little Carter wanted to call someone. So his cousin allowed him to speak with her friend. The end result is the cutest phone call you’ve ever heard.
He’s a little shy at first and doesn’t know what to say. Then he starts talking to the other person on the phone in rapid-fire toddler gibberish.
Carter is asked if he likes his cousin. He emphatically replies “no,” which elicits laughter from his cousin, who is standing nearby and recording the conversation. But the good times don’t stop there.
Carter is still babbling about how his father is in the house. He also appears to believe his grandmother is present, but his cousin insists she is not.
The toddler says goodbye several times before rambling on in his invented language. He brushes off his cousin’s attempts to take away the phone.
Finally, he starts singing nonsense to the woman on the other end of the phone. He continues to sing, despite the fact that neither of the adults understands what he is saying.
Kids can do the most amusing things. Sometimes all you have to do is sit back and hit the record button. I’m sure Carter’s cousin is glad she thought to record this sweet moment.
