Parents sometimes believe that their babies cry to attract attention, and in this case, they are correct!
A Japanese study discovered that babies can indeed manipulate their emotions and fake cry.
In contrast to when they are genuinely upset, the infants in the study appeared to show positive emotions in the last few seconds before crying when their mother was away and instantly smiled when she returned.
A few seconds later, they secretly glanced to see if their parents fall for their trick!
What a talent! Somebody should get these babies an award for their amazing crying performance
