Baby kicks indicate that your baby is developing normally within the womb and also remind parents that there is something inherently magical going on within a woman’s belly. In the later stages of pregnancy, the baby will become more active, and you will know they are healthy when you can feel them turn, roll, and stretch their limbs.
Babies in the womb can respond to external stimuli such as strange noises, music, and even the food they eat. Flutters of movement from within the womb can be felt as early as nine weeks into the pregnancy! This is when the baby begins to move its limbs, which can be detected using ultrasound scans. These babies are sometimes so active that their movements can be seen from the outside surface of the mother’s belly.
