Domestication is possible in the wild. How can you get a wolf to behave and interact like a friendly dog?

It’s hard to think that people can live in the same house as wild creatures, but the story of wolf Kira and her human mother will make you believe in miracles. Kira was born in the shelter, as were her siblings. Unfortunately, the inexperienced mother rejected all of these tiny creatures.

Alida welcomed her and did her best so that Kira could enjoy a carefree life as a pet because setting her free into the wildlife was quite dangerous for the lone wolf.

“If she is set free, she might not survive, as she doesn’t know how to find food,” Alida mentioned. “Kira was left at the age of 3 days. And I took her once Kira was physically ready.

Training a wolf is obviously tough, but Alida did her best.

“I took her out of the shelter at the age of 28 days. She is intelligent but very stubborn.’’

“Education also had its problems, but with age, everything goes away and the work pays off – Kira has a gentle psyche, does not react to the aggressions of other dogs, and does not cause collisions herself. I did my best for her to act and interact like a harmless dog.’’
