There are many remarkable milestones in our youth, but none is more unforgettable than learning to ride a bike. Normally, dad removes the training wheels, but not this time.
Ryler had an idea while outside on his last day of spring vacation, experimenting with his skateboard. Hazel, his younger sister, was still riding her bike with training wheels on.
Ryler decided it was time to remove the small child’s wheels. He went into the garage and grabbed some of his father’s tools in order to get his sister a big girl bike.
His parents walked outside to see what he was doing while he was oiling the chain and were taken aback. This incredible big brother then taught his younger sister to ride a bike on his own.
This wonderful encounter occurred on National Siblings Day, which is ironic. It took Hazel less than fifteen minutes to perfect riding a bicycle. Her brother could not be more pleased with her.
Ryler’s parents also couldn’t be prouder of him. They were so impressed to see how their son took the initiative and the time to teach his little sister a valuable skill.
What a wonderful memory that this family was able to capture on camera! It’s amazing to see the bond between brothers and sisters and how much it grows stronger day by day.
