Mom Caught a 2-Year-Old Kissing Ultrasound, and Toddler’s Loving Words For Unborn Sister Will Melt Your Heart

To a 2-year-old, the prospect of adding a new sibling to the family can be stressful; toddlers dislike change and frequently dread losing Mom and Dad’s attention. But for Myla L’Anson, the arrival of her baby sister cannot come fast enough.

“This is my daughter Myla, who is nearly three, and she viewed the footage of her unborn sister’s scan at 16 weeks and four days,” explains Carly Tansley in the title of a YouTube video she shared. “I was not expecting her to become so emotional!” The amount of affection she already has for her is incredible.”

Carly is referring to the adorable moment when Myla approaches the ultrasound, kisses it, and bursts into tears.

“I adore my little sister!” she exclaims between sobs.

“She’s always been adamant we were having a girl because she’s always wanted a sister,” Carly explains. “She thought she wanted a sibling to dress up as a Disney princess,” Dad says. Carly continues the Disney theme by revealing that Myla has already begun pondering ideas for the baby: “She’s also determined that we must refer to her as Snow White.” We named her Aurora last week, so we’ll have to call her Ariel or Elsa next week.”

Carly described the experience as “heartwarming,” yet it was so unexpected that she had to chuckle! It’s the most lovely blend of emotions.

As much as Myla adores her younger sister, Carly understands that the sisters will not always get along. In fact, she already has plans to use this film in the future!

“I will definitely show her the video when they’re fighting and pulling each other’s hair!”
