One of the kittens of a litter that came to a Montreal Animal Shelter was not expected to survive. But miracles can happen when you look after a kitten named Baby Mars who volunteers.
When volunteers from a Montreal animal shelter rescued a litter of kittens that had been born a week before, they discovered that one of them was not doing well at all. It was much smaller than the others and had a slim chance of survival.
Coralie, an animal shelter volunteer, however, knew precisely what to do. She returned home with the kitten and nursed him nonstop until he was able to move around and feed on his own.
He was given the nickname “Baby Mars” later on (perhaps for his color). When the kitten was improving, something else was becoming even more powerful.
Coralie and Baby Mars’ friendship grew stronger by the day. When it was time for Coralie to return the kitten to the shelter, it was Baby Mars who decided where he would live for the rest of his life.
