A video of a 3-year-old youngster playing the drums has gone viral throughout the world. There are a lot of videos of kids playing drums on the internet, but none of them show a boy conducting a 65-piece orchestra in front of a live audience.
The young man appeared on the talent show “Minute of Fame,” which has since gone viral. When audiences around the world witness this lovely youngster in action, they can’t believe their eyes.
His father, who sits next to him throughout the play, brings the adorable toddler to the stage. They all begin playing when the conductor explains what is about to happen.
They perform Jacques Offenbach’s ‘Orpheus in the Underworld,’ also known as ‘The Can-Can.’ The boy doesn’t have a single sheet of music in front of him; he memorized the whole thing himself.
He starts playing and flawlessly executes the crescendos, diminuendos, and accompanying rhythms. All goes perfectly well, but then disaster strikes. He loses grip for a split second and drops his drumstick on the floor.
The boy bends down nonchalantly, takes it up, and proceeds. At that point in the video, I’m playing the precise note that the orchestra is playing. Without staring at the drums or skipping a beat, he plays, turns around, and looks at the conductor.
The audience is enthralled by the show. Most people are baffled as to how such a young youngster can learn this skill and have the confidence to perform in front of such a large audience.
